I braved the retail madness tonight to finish up my shopping. *shudder* Now I only have a couple things to ship - late, I know! but the Canada Post website says I can do it! - if I can just get a small enough package. Odd, last post I mentioned IRC, and the other day in Gamezilla, I was reading the back of a book on webcomics and saw It's Walky mentioned. Walkertron used to show up in IRC. I'm far too amused that part of the title of this post contains three 'X's.

One bright spark scheduled the pickup at the destination address and wondered why the driver never showed. I think I've figured it out; they know where they are, so they figure the driver must too, and he'll only need to know where it needs to go. Compound this with the ( Read more... )

I don't know why addresses and postal codes, and the terms 'pickup' and 'delivery' are so difficult. You learn them on Sesame Street, which, being broadcast on CBC, you really have no way of avoiding.
